Mark Mimms

Mark Mimms II currently serves as the Deputy Director of Economic Development at Merced County Community & Economic Development, a role he has held since June 2018. Prior to his current position, Mr. Mimms contributed to the economic growth of Fresno County as the Economic Development Coordinator for Fresno County EDC.

Mr. Mimm's educational background includes a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminology from the University of La Verne. During his time at university, he was an active member of The Men's Volleyball Team, showcasing his commitment to both academics and extracurricular activities.

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Mr. Mimm's is known for his spirit of service. He dedicated eight months of his life to missionary work with Youth With A Mission, demonstrating a strong sense of community engagement and a desire to make a positive impact. Mr. Mimms' multifaceted experiences in economic development, coupled with his educational achievements and commitment to community service, collectively reflect his well-rounded and dedicated approach to fostering growth and development in the regions he serves.
