Israel Cortes

Raised in Madera, Israel Cortes is active in the community. He has owned an insurance brokerage agency for over ten years, which he operates alongside his wife, Bertha Ruiz-Cortes.Additionally, the bilingual Israel was elected to the Madera School Board in2020.

Israel graduated from Fresno StateUniversity with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

He is the proud father of two children who attend Madera Unified schools.
