Two new community health facilities for two medically underserved San Joaquin Valley communities

United Health Centers (UHC) is a State of California licensed Community Health Center and a recognized Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Four hundred of the FQHC respond to over 200,000 medical, dental, and mental health visits each year and provide services to some 48,000 low-income patients throughout the Central Valley.

As part of UHC’s strategic plan to meet the health care needs of farmworkers and other struggling residents, they initiated the construction of two new clinics and facilities, one in Parlier and the other in Mendota. Central Valley NMTC provided financing for construction at the Mendota location and to purchase equipment and furnishings at both projects.
